POLIN MUSEUM CAMPAIGN

"Different stories, but hate remains the same" is an integrated campaign for the Museum of the History of Polish Jews POLIN promoting the exhibition "Estranged: March '68 and Its Aftermath".

In March 1968 young people broke out in protest against the policies of the ruling powers.

The response of the communist regime was an anti-Semitic campaign which resulted in the expulsion of around 13,000 Poles of Jewish descent from the country. Today, the hateful slogans of 50 years ago are returning.

Using contemporary hateful language left in the comments sections of Polish websites, we want to warn against the effects of spreading hate speech and to illustrate what this kind of language led to 50 years ago. Let’s not allow history to repeat itself.

I was responsible for:

  • the big idea

  • writing the video scripts and executing the idea (whole production process)

  • creating the mechanism, idea and design of the micro site

  • inventing interactive installations for the museum

  • creating all the materials needed to execute the 360 campaign.
Everything in 2 languages - English and Polish.
